Collection of your Personal Information SecSign may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name. We may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future. SecSign also collects and stores messages and documents uploaded by you. Those documents and messages will only be stored in encrypted form. You decide for each document and message specifically which other users are allowed to either read, download, alter or delete the document or message.

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by SecSign. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the SecSign websites.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through SecSign's message and document exchange service, this information may be collected and used by those other users that you specified as receivers of the respective message or document.

Use of your Personal Information SecSign collects and uses your personal information to operate its website(s) and deliver the services you have requested.

Security of your Personal Information To secure your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure, SecSign has as established a secret sharing system. Only a small number of SecSign's employees is able to assemble the database encryption key required to start the SecSign service. Several of these specifically trained employees have to act jointly to start the SecSign service. This restriction is enforced by cryptographical means. As of the date this policy went into effect, we us Amazon's EC2, RDS and S3 cloud service to run our service and store your personal information. When personal information (such as your documents and messages) is uploaded or downloaded to or from our websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol (formerly known as SSL). The same applies if personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites.

Children Under Thirteen SecSign does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.
